About Constructiv
Built on Craft.
Inspired by Tradition.
A story that started in Alberta, took root in the Black Hills, and shows up in every pour.

The Story
Twenty years in the trades. One way of working — carefully.
Jonathan brings over 20 years of construction experience, starting in the trades at age 15 alongside his father in Alberta. His background spans agricultural, commercial, and specialty concrete construction — the kind of varied work that builds the instinct only time on the job can give you.
Raised in Canada, Jonathan grew up on job sites and learned that concrete rewards patience and punishes shortcuts. He spent two decades pouring, forming, and finishing across a wide range of projects, working with crews who took the craft seriously and clients who became friends.
In 2024, Jonathan and his wife relocated to the Black Hills of South Dakota, drawn to the landscape, the seasons, and the lifestyle. It was here that his long-standing interest in sauna culture evolved into a focused craft — and where Constructiv took shape, expanding into the residential concrete and home development work that defines the company today.
Constructiv exists because Jonathan believes the way you build matters as much as what you build. Small crews. Honest communication. Finishes that stand up to weather and time. From the first conversation to the day you move in, you're working with the same person — and that's the point.

Your project is a chapter in a longer story. We treat it like it matters — because it does.
03
Integrity
Honest numbers, honest timelines, honest answers when something needs rework.
04
Longevity
We build for the second owner, the third winter, the twentieth year.
